Since WPtap only works on high-end phones, such as iPhone and Android, what if I want my site also be visible on lower-end phones that are not touch-based?

You can install other plugins such as MobileForge and MobilePress, which works great on lower-end phones. Now by using WPtap Mobile Detector, you can choose different themes to be activated for different type of mobile devices. So you can have both installed and activated, that will cover both lower and higher-end users. We have thoroughly tested WPtap with the above plugin/themes mentioned, there are absolutely no conflicts. You can even keep your regular WAP site.
