WPtap is a child company of PPL Development LLC. Based in Nevada US, the company has been a pioneer in mobile application development since 2005.

Our mission is to make everyone’s WordPress site mobile-ready.

Company History

In May 2005, the company started developing mobile applications for J2ME and Symbian-based mobile devices, including Nokia, Motorola, and etc. Featured apps include RSSNews!, FinanceNews, and Mobile Finance.

In Dec. 2005, we expanded our platform to the fast-growing Blackberry. Since then, we have developed many top-selling utility apps for Blackberry series. Our products, such as MemoryUp and NetworkAcc, have been featured as best utility apps on Handango.com.

In Nov. 2008, our team started a division focusing on iPhone app development. We have developed many top-selling utility and lifestyle apps on iTune store, including Brainwave Tuner, Battery Plus, Bubble War, etc.

In July 2009, we started WPtap team to develop mobile plugins for WordPress.

In Oct. 2009, we further extended our scope to Google Android platform.
